SOHOPBXConsulting.biz has been in business since 1997, selling online. The word "Consulting" in our name distinguishes us from the traditional distributor, it refers to the fact that we are not just selling you product. We consult with you on specific needs and help you make good choices. We grew from the retail market, and understand the business. In 2002, we purchased a Talkswitch IP PBX system for our own use. We had outgrown the various systems we used, including an 800 service that "intelligently" routed calls. This system worked fine we thought, until we got to a certain size and number of people. It was then just too expensive, and, didn't perform the functions we needed. Once we got the Talkswitch IP PBX in, we quickly realized how much in the stone age we had really been! We liked the system so much, we started to sell it. In the next couple of years, we grew into one of the top 3 worldwide dealers of the Talkswitch IP PBX, in large part because of how we leveraged and used our Talkswitch IP PBX system. We had completely figured out and understood the Talkswitch IP PBX market, catching up to dealers that had been in the business long before us and that had been far larger than us.
In 2006, planning began on moving to another level. We had so much knowledge in the small business phone system market and the internet, and, wanted to spread that knowledge to other dealers. We really believed in the Talkswitch IP PBX platform. We saw that there just were not enough good dealers out there who understood the product and practical applications. We felt strongly that if we could help dealers succeed, that the market could grow by several orders of magnitudes. We saw many dealers simply taking what a customer said, and, trying to make a product fit. We always emphasized understanding the customers business, taking what they said, and then proposing an even better way for the customer to use their phone system. More often than not, this made the sale.
So, that is where we are today. We sold off our retail business to another company and it is doing very well. We've been supplying the Talkswitch IP PBX to several of the top dealers. We intend to grow our existing dealers and new dealers we serve just as we had grown before. There is so much opportunity out there in the small business phone system space. This should explain how we differ from just being a traditional distributor merely pushing boxes!
We also provide a number of related phone system products and distribute them as well. Our On Hold Plus products are very successful, working with most phone systems on the market. SBC phones provide a decent phone at very low cost. Check out our product line. We do not only sell to Talkswitch IP PBX dealers.
